Beliefs
About God:
We believe in God. He exists as Father, Son and Holy Spirit who alone is sovereign, lover of all creation and actively involved in the affairs of this world.
About the Bible:
We believe the Bible is God’s story designed to reveal God, liberate human beings and judge the world.
About Humanity:
We believe man has been created in the image of God, which means we have worth regardless of our life situation; separated from God because of sin; in need of redemption; intended to live in relationship with God.
About Relationship with God:
We believe a relationship with God is received as a gift. Made possible by the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross. Occurs when people place their faith in Jesus Christ. Evidence of this relationship is confession of Jesus Christ as Lord, baptism and accepting God’s agenda for our lives.
About Church:
We believe the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The church consists of those who have trusted by faith the person and work of Christ. The church is given the authority to represent and carry out the work of God.
